Installing eGalax touchscreen driver on Linux

First of all make sure the eGalax touch controller is detected by your Linux system. Go to linux command shell and execute below command:

lsusb

This command will list all the USB devices that are attached to the Linux system. If the list shows a line with D-WAV eGalax, you can proceed with the driver installation.

Visit below site and copy the driver file URL. The driver file extension will be tar.gz.

Execute the below commands at the command shell:

wget https://www.eeti.com/touch_driver/Linux/20201110/eGTouch_v2.5.9321.L-x.tar.gz
tar -xzf eGTouch_v2.5.9321.L-x.tar.gz
cd eGTouch_v2.5.9321.L-x
sh setup.sh

Follow the on-screen instructions and finish the installation. After reboot the touchscreen should work.
