Setting up USB Thermal printer:
Note: When trying to connect using USB cable make sure you have plugged in and connected both the printer and computer/system and also check if the printer is turned on.

Once confirmed follow the below steps:

  1. Open Main menu
  2. Click Configuration
  3. Click Peripherals tab
  4. From the “Printer” drop down list choose Epson or appropriate printer brand
  5. From the “Mode” dropdown choose “file
  6. From the “Port” dropdown choose the last option which says “/dev/usb/lp0
  7. Click Save
  8. Restart Saleculator.

Now just try to print a receipt for a few of the products from your Saleculator. A successful printout of the receipt indicates you have set up the USB thermal printer correctly.
